This is my new meme I made my own. Here I will put a verse which is really touch me in a week.

This week verse is:

Galatians 4:6 (The Message)
You can tell for sure that you are now fully adopted as his own children because God sent the Spirit of his Son into our lives crying out, "Papa! Father!"

And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"

I have been here in the new island for two months. I still get no job. I almost change my mind and go back to my hometown before I suddenly remember my prayer. I want to undergo my life as God's daughter. I want to have Him as my father. I even pray, "God, be my father. I want to have this moment with you. I want to treat you as my own father". Am I crazy?

So, here I am, in a new island, living separated from my flesh father and starting my new heavenly father. It is not easy at all. I thought that if I have Him as my father, I will get everything I want. Avariciously become my main objective. But then I realize that it is not God's way.

If I want to have Him as my father, I should follow Him. Do what He want. Listen to Him. Obey Him. I can not proclaim than I am His daughter if I am vicious. I can not proclaim that He is my father if I do not look like Him at all. Imagine that you have a father and you live like your neighbour. What will people think?

Back to the topic. I cried a lot this month and it made me tired. My heart is filled with evil things and I didn't even realize it. I treated people really bad and I felt I have done the best for them. My life is really far away with what we call "God's children". I even do not reach the basic standard. Even I go to church and read the devotional, I do not undertake it in my real life. I read but I let it gone with the wind. I want to be sober but in fact, I close to crazy. I fall into the deepest ground which I really can't help myself to climb. I leave Him and I do everything on my own. I decide everything on my own and I ignore Him. Can I call myself a daughter of God?

Yet He still remembers my prayer...

He whispered to my ear and He said, "Ika, do you really want to be my daughter? Do you really want to live with Me? Do you really want to live in Me? Do you really want Me to be your Father?" I said, "Of course, God". He said, "Why are you grumbling? This is the only way to make you depend on me. This is the only way to make you trust me more. This is the way to show you that I am with you now. This is the only way you do not depend on your parents, your best friend and your world's pleasure. This is the only way to make you call Me your father"

So yesterday, after I realize all my fault, I woke up this evening with a new smile. I took a shower with a new spirit. I walk with a new mind. I do not have to go home. I ask Him what I need. I ask Him to accompany me to this Internet center and I ask Him to bless you all my friend.

What does it mean that you are able to call God your Father?

I used to be sceptical about this. Yes, I am going to church. Yes, I am reading daily devotional. Yes, I believe that He is always beside me. Yes, I believe that He is watching me. Yes, I know that He is my Heavenly Father. No, I sometimes do not think that He is my father. Until I met my fiance.

I used to pray like a poet. I created beautiful words so that my prayer would be wonderful. I closed my eyes and pretended that I am a good prayer. I acted like I have a very close and personal relationship with Him. In fact, I am not!

So, one day I had an intimate conversation with my fiance. He told me his story about how God is really become his father. I listened to his story. I believed to everything he said about his experience with God. I just do not believe that I also have the rights to do the same as him. Why? because I think that my attitude and my heart is not as pure as him. I am wrong.

God is our father and He really is. I am now telling myself again and again. I remind myself everyday that He is my father. I do not have to create a beautiful phrase to talk to Him. When I am tired, I do not have to say, "Fill me Lord and blessed me abundantly to make me stronger". I'd rather say, "God, I am tired". I think He will understand.

When I am able to call God as my father, I should not hide anything from Him. I should not build a wall between us to defend myself. I should not be ashamed to ask Him for something I need. I should not be ashamed to praise Him in front of many people. I should not be scared to give appreciate to Him and thank Him for everything He has done for me. I should not do such thing. Why? Because there is nothing to hide between father and His children.

I always tell many things to my dad. My dad always remind me to pray, to talk to God. My dad always tell me that I do not have to pray in my room privately. I could also pray when I am walking, reading, talking, etc. Sometimes I do it but sometimes I do not. I wish I listened to my dad.

Now, as I know that He is my father. I am not afraid of Him anymore. I respect Him but I also share to Him. I share when I am happy. I share when I cry. I share when I am mad. The wall between us had gone and I am happy for it.

She was about 6 feet and 6 inches. She had long black hair and white skin. She is beautiful and calm. One word to describe her would be gorgeous. She was my classmate in junior high school. It was in 1997. That was the first time I met her and introduced each other. She used too long skirt and socks. I thought that this girl must be one of those nerd society.

One semester passed and I found out that she is really rich. Her father works in a real estate industry and her mother sells jewelry. They had many dogs from many breeds. They had five maids at home and one or two drivers. They had two cars. Everything seemed really perfect. She is perfect and so does her family.

Let me see what I have. I was not that tall. I had a very long black hair and I was fat. I was not beautiful and I was prude. One word to describe me would be so yesterday. My father has no industry at all. He is just a worker. A very good worker, or may I say it, he is the best worker you have ever met. My mother is a housewife so she does not produce money. She cooks and takes care of my father, my brother and me. We do not have maid at home. We share household chores. We once had ever had a car but it had been sold.

That lucky girl now is a wife of a famous lawyer in this country. She has just born her first little sweet daughter. Her daughter is, of course, as gorgeous as her. She has her own house which is designed by herself. Have I told you that she is a designer? She studied abroad and got her bachelor degree there. She made friends with many people from many countries. How good it is.

We are still connected until now. We still have a close conversation and encourage each other. We sing together and dance together. We do many crazy things together. We have fun together. We cry together and we laugh together. I see my calendar and it has been many years now since the first time I met her. We trust each other and we never try to disappoint each other. We tolerate each other and we solve the problem together. We are a good best friend ever.

Once, our friend had ever created an issue to break our relationship. They spread bad gossip about me. They said that I made friend with her just to get her money. They said that I envy her. I know that is wrong. I do not have that feeling at all. I love her as my own sister and there is no such idea in my mind. Fortunately, I explained it to her and she believed me.

The truth is, when she is happy, I am happy and vice versa. Until now, I can not see the gaps between both of us. Those gaps already gone since the first time I said, "Hi! I am Ika" and she replied me with, "Hi! I am Mayang".
